The President of Human Trust International, Dr. Waqas Nadeem, recently visited Italy for a high-level meeting with Antonio Ingroia, a former anti-mafia magistrate and now a distinguished lawyer. Their discussion underscored shared commitments to justice, human rights, and international cooperation.
Mr. Ingroia, who continues to live under security protection due to his courageous fight against organised crime, presented Dr. Nadeem with a signed copy of his book, dedicated personally to him. The gesture came with a powerful message: “Only by understanding even those who betray can unity in the fight against injustice be strengthened.”
During their meeting, both leaders explored potential collaboration between Human Trust International and Ingroia’s legal practice. The proposed partnership will focus on key issues: combating injustice, supporting victims of domestic violence, safeguarding minors, and protecting women — especially Muslim women.
